Join us for all day guided tour of the western Austrian state of Tyrol, Austria, of which Innsbruck is the capitol city. This guided tour will begin at the conference hotel where we will be picked up by our guide in our tour bus.

During our tour, we´ll walk through the middle-aged Old town of HALL, (~10 km from Innsbruck) and visit the Parish-Church St. Nikolaus, the Old City Hall and the Fortress Hasegg, where we will have in the mint-museum the opportunity to make our own coins! Afterwards we´ll drive to SCHWAZ, the old Silber-Mine-City, where 500 years ago 12.000 miners were established. For lunch we´ll go to the TRATZBERG CASTLE, where you will enjoy in the Burgschenke, a typical Tyrolean meal (Speck, Kaminwurzen, Käse, Apfelstrudel). After lunch, we will visit the Castle – which we will reach via a small train. We will see a beautiful Castle from the late 15th century, still today in private ownership. It features original carved ceilings as well as furniture from the late Middle Age, the famous genealogical tree of the royal family of Habsburg, an armory and more.

After these visits, we´ll walk over to the Festival Houses to the restaurant, Stern-Bräu, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will go by elevator up to the mountain of Mönchsberg, where we will have a spectacular view of the town.
